Home sales in the Triangle Region were up nearly 12% compared with October of last year. Though this is definitely some welcome news, home sales for the year are still down 6.5% compared with the same timeframe last year. Forecasters vary on how 2012 will shape up, but one can only hope that October’s numbers are the beginning of an upward trend.
