My Office Administrator was at Costco recently when she called me with a question…
“Can you take a look at the office supply store website to see what we’re paying for envelopes?”
I pulled up the website and saw that the current price for 500 envelopes was about $35.
When I told her, she proceeded to tell me, “I can get a box of 500 here at Costco for only $10.”
I then said, “Are you sure? That’s a huge price difference. Are those the type that you still have to lick for them to seal?”
“Nope,” she said, “these are the peel and stick type…just like the kind we usually get.”
“Are they the right size? We use the number 10 size.”
“Yes, these are number 10 size also.” She replied. “In fact, these are also tinted for security, which is an extra feature that the more expensive ones we bought last time don’t have.”
“Wow! You get more and pay less! Go ahead and buy them!”
