Discount Realtor with Superior Customer Service? Check out Southwest Airlines!
I’ve been participating in a discussion where some traditional agents (falsely) claim that only agents charging a much higher commission can provide great customer service. They seem to equate (incorrectly I might add), that a higher commission leads to better service and better results. Coincidentally, today I came across two articles about Southwest Airlines… The first article is showing how Southwest Airlines, which serves Raleigh NC, is having a fare sale for as low as $40 one way! The second article showed how Southwest Airlines is ranks #1 in customer satisfaction (http://www.nj.com/business/index.ssf/2011/06/southwest_airlines_beats_rival.html). How is this possible? They charge a lower amount, yet the provide great customer satisfaction! What a concept!
The fact is that a higher real estate commission does not equate to better service or better results.
