Random Act of Culture Comes to Charlotte

One of the things I love about Charlotte is that it has a lot of “Big City” things to it (i.e. Pro sports teams, large companies, plenty to do), without feeling too much like a “Big City”.  If you’re looking for culture, Charlotte has its share.  Typically this means getting dressed up and heading out for the evening, but not this time… Looks like some lucky patrons of Atherton Market on South Boulevard were fortunate enough to hear some singers from Opera Carolina while they were out shopping…

Though you can see plenty of examples of this on YouTube in other cities around the world (search for “opera singers in market” on YouTube), this is the first time I’ve heard of this in Charlotte.
